{is it october yet}

It's September! There are so many things to look forward to in the coming months, especially sweater weather and PEPPERMINT MOCHA {my guilty pleasure holiday drink}.

Just a quick update on what I've been up to and what's to come!

I got the approval from my boss to take a few days off in October to go to one of the cities I've been dying to visit, Prague! Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I wasn't able to attend study abroad during my 3.5 years at NYU, so this will be my first time in Europe. To say that I'm excited is a severe understatement. Initially, I was a little reluctant. I mean, how much of a city can you absorb in just four days? But if there's any opportunity to leave the country, even for a short while, it'll ultimately be worth it. Can it just be October 22nd already so I can fly out?

September is just the calm before the October storm. Back to back weekends filled with different shows, a trip to AC, and birthdays before Prague.

So ready to finally venture off to Europe. First stop: Czech Republic.

{onno ober x august deep}

Yes, it's Tuesday.
Yes, I'm pretty horrible about updating here.
I apologize.

Kids at Play - Channel has a habit of posting some great mixes on their SoundCloud page, and this Onno Ober mix is no exception. The first track immediately hooked me, and as I took a look at the rest of the tracklist, I was instantly intrigued and continued to listen. Choon in for some deep sounds.

There's always a need to unplug and relax with a book every once in a while. We live in such a tech-centric world where there's rarely time to disconnect from our beloved Wi-Fi. On Wednesdays, I'll start posting novels that I'm reading or want to read {so essentially, What I'm Reading Wednesdays}. I think I'm also going to start a book list somewhere here, so keep an eye out for that as well.

Armed with my friend's HBOGo account, I finally got around to watching {and finishing within a month} Game of Thrones after the many "oh my god you don't watch GoT!?" comments of my friends. I tried to hold off watching the show because I wanted to read the book first. I purchased the book on my Kindle, but after reading the first page, I was overwhelmed because the book is extremely dense. Now, with some sort of knowledge of the plot and characters, I'm giving the book another go. No doubt that it's still just as dense as I left it, but it should be a smoother ride from here on out.

If anyone has other book recommendations, please let me know through comments!
